If you want to add Effects into your clip then you drag your sequence into After Effects, then you make it into a sequence. You can then add Effects to the clip, the effects will show in After Effects. You have to make sure that it is saved in both programs though because if it isn't then you could lose all of your effects that you added in After Effects. You then upload the whole video into premier with the Effects so that it appears as a video once you have exported it as a YouTube file.

working between premiere and after effects
In premier Pro you can import clips from Adobe Effects into Premier Pro by going in to film, and then Import media, and then click on the Export settings, you then Export it to QuickTime.
